We proposed the signage plan for Hotel Stand-By League Sakai, taking charge of the logo design, container signage, and interior signage.

A key concept of Hotel Stand-By League Sakai is that, in times of emergency or disaster, guest rooms can be separated and transported to affected areas as temporary housing. Inspired by this idea, all signage is designed using boards with the same proportions as shipping containers (h1:w3), with all information applied using spray-painted lettering.

Textured paint is used for the boards, while the sprayed lettering intentionally includes slight irregularities. This approach aims to evoke the casual, utilitarian aesthetic of markings found directly on containers, while ensuring clear visibility and legibility.
